3 Nov – Sweet Qismina has recently dismissed the notion that she and husband Adam Lee are opting for in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) in order to conceive their first child.
Speaking to the media at the Malaysian Film Festival, the actress said that she never thought about that and was perplexed as to why people keep asking her and her actor husband about IVF.
“I never made such a statement. I think maybe someone suggested it and it somehow turned viral. But no, my husband and I never planned for that because we have only been married for three years,” she said.
At the same time, Sweet said that she and Adam are not against having a child and will accept God’s blessings with an open hand.
“We are still young and we will just go with the flow. It is all in God’s arrangement… My husband and I were never pressed about this. We are grateful that our families have always been supportive,” she said.
The actress won Best Actress at the Malaysian Film Festival for her performance in the movie, “Babah”. The film also became a big winner at the event, winning major categories including Best Film.
